Robert Lederer – Budapest, Hungary [Ride & Drive] “I did both the drive and the ride and it was very fun out there. You are very close to the ground and can really feel it in the turns. I drove a Formula 1 car for only a few laps only and this is very comparable.” |
Gloria Ruiz – San Juan, Puerto Rico [Ride]
“The experience was just awesome and wonderful. I think the people from Puerto Rico would really enjoy doing this Indy Racing Experience because they like these types of cars and they like the speed and the emotions that come with it. I want to go back and do it again.” |

Peter Mundean – Worcester, England [Ride]
“My father heard about this by reading the Orlando Sentinel and we had to come try it out. This experience with the IndyCar was fantastic and very fast. Sitting so low to the ground makes it feel so much faster and I particularly felt the g-forces going down the backstretch. We’re definitely going to do it again before we head back to England.” |
Carlo Medici, Milan, Italy [Drive]
“It was fantastic. The briefing was very clear and thorough and the drive was a blast. The overall speed is quite impressive and the turns look alike, but they are all very different so you have to adjust your lines in each corner. You feel like you are a Formula 1 driver in the car and I am a big Ferrari fan of course. For a novice, I think this is the closest you can get to being a Formula 1 driver.” |

Heiko Böhmer – Cologne (Köln), Germany [Ride]
“I was here for a convention and had a day off to do something so I came to the track. In the IndyCar, you are sitting right on the ground and watching the wheel. The feeling is that it’s not possible for the car to make it through the turn at that speed. I expected the car to slide in the turn, but it is unbelievable how stable it is. I live close to the F1 track back home and I’m a racing fan in general. I have watched some IndyCar races on Eurosport, but I am going to pay much closer attention to it now that I understand what the drivers go through.” |
Darrell Dixon, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada [Drive]
“Of all the crazy things I have ever done, and I have done a lot, this would be number one. Your heart rate and adrenaline is pumping so hard that you are shaking at the start, but after a few laps, you really start enjoying the speed and vibration.” |

Valéry Philippe, Lyon (Rhône), France [Ride]
“I am an F1 fan so when I came here to America for work, I enjoyed learning about the IndyCar experience. The cars are similar and I was amazed with the speed and how you get pulled by the forces in the corner. You dress up like a real driver and the pit crew is wonderful. I’ll be back next time I am in Florida.” |
Juan Carlos Herrera – San Luis Potosi, Mexico [Ride]
“We were across the way at Disney World and heard the sound of the cars going around the track. We came over here, found out what it was, and ending up doing both experiences. It was great and a totally new sensation for me. Just the speed and sitting so low to the ground, everything made it a whole new experience for me.” |
